After a quarter-century of award-winning vintages in South Australia, the Bulgarian-born adopted Aussie can see a trend that is a testament to her kind of winemaking. We might as a country be drinking less overall, not to mention making too much wine, but the consumption graph for so-called “premium wines” – priced at $15 a bottle or more – is on an upward curve.
