(KADN) — May is Better Sleep Month. The importance of a good work-life balance begins with a healthy sleep cycle. This is one of my favorite segments. We spend a third of our lives asleep but how much do you really know about the science of sleep? First, let’s look at the sleep cycle. In the first stage, breathing slows and muscles relax. After about 20 minutes, it moves to stage two where the muscles paralyze and we see a drop in the body temperature.
