ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Sabres have been unable to reach an agreement with Alex Tuch on a contract extension, general manager Jarmo Kekalainen said Wednesday, and the top-line forward is reportedly heading to the Washington Capitals in a sign-and-trade deal. Tuch is reported to be signing an eight-year contraction with an average annual value of $10.5 million, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
