Here are the top performers from the Knoxville area for week two of the TSSAA season. Aug. 25 Volleyball Manning Click, Greeneville: Click had 17 digs to lead Greeneville past Seymour 25-16, 26-24 and 25-19. Leah Ford, Greeneville: Ford had three aces. Allison Hayes, Greeneville: Hayes had 14 assists. Kinley McCaslin, Greeneville: McCaslin finished with nine kills and three aces. Abigail Prado, Seymour: Prado had 19 kills, 12 digs and two aces in a three-set loss to Greeneville.

Introduction TO CLAIM THERE IS A CRISIS of public trust in the police risks over-statement. Police retain levels of trust that might seem from some perspectives remarkably high. Crime Survey of England and Wales (CSEW) data from 2022/23 indicate that 52 per cent of people thought their local police do an ‘excellent’ or ‘good’ job—most of the rest gave a ‘fair’ rating, while 68 per cent reported they have ‘overall confidence’ in their local police.

By Jonathan Jackson Midwest City Beacon After moving 15 times in the last 20 years it was time for a permanent home. MoNica Winters and her family now have one in Spencer. She and three of her four sons recently bought a brand-new home thanks to the help of Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity. They were joined by other family members and many staff and community members that helped this family build their dream home.
