1. Introduction The global population is ageing at an unprecedented rate [1]. Individuals aged 50 and older represent a rapidly growing demographic group, with significant implications for healthcare systems and societal well-being [2]. In the United States, this ageing trend is particularly pronounced, with projections indicating that individuals aged 65 and over will comprise nearly 20% of the population by 2030 [3].
