This obsession began when I watched The Thomas Crown Affair for the first time. At 19, I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to be René Russo hunting down the stolen masterpieces or Pierce Brosnan making off with them. The heist was so smart and so beautifully orchestrated that I became addicted to art heists from that moment on.

As you all know I am about to embark on a three week book tour for The Parisian Heist. I am very excited. I have many new dresses to show off for you. AND I JUST GOT MY PERIOD. This wouldn’t have been a problem in the past, but as a perimenopausal woman my periods are essentially a gushing waterfall roaring through the Grand Canyon that can take me and an outfit down at any given moment. I wrote about this two years ago.
