I have a couple, but Geronimo Stilton sparked my love of journalism at a young age.

Journalism about providing information and insight into the world around us. Telling other's stories and making people care.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Short sweet and to the point. I prefer email.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Suite, WordPress, Wix, Grammerly

LinkedIn is the most informative, but I could spend hours on Pinterest.
Why did you become a journalist?
I wanted to find a way to make a difference. Journalism allows me to make a difference and share stories that matter.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I did not, I worked for my college paper though.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I wrote a feature piece about Alzheimer's that centered on my grandfather.
When's the best time to pitch you?
I always have my phone on me and I am pretty good about answering it. But the best time is between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. pst

I wrote a feature piece about an English professor at my college, Her name was quite literally, Professor Best.

A college professor asked me to write a feature piece about the school's fly fishing program

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
If I am not working, I try to get outside and run or hike and if that isn't an option then I usually find a good book.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?
I have worked a few beats. Most recently I have been working in cryptocurrency, most common is that I can give financial advice.
