Dangerous heat is settling in for the rest of the week, with Wednesday and Thursday expected to be the hottest days! Highs will soar into the 90s, but the humidity will make it feel more like 105 to 110 degrees or even higher in a few spots. An Extreme Heat Warning is in effect for much of the area, and while a passing thunderstorm may briefly cool things down, the dangerous heat is expected to continue through at least Friday before easing a bit over the weekend.
