PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A young teen boy was arrested in Peoria after allegedly being armed with a gun. The 14-year-old boy was arrested on multiple charges, including aggravated assault and possession of a firearm under 21, said Semone Roth, a spokeswoman for the Peoria Police Department. Just before 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, police went to the 1800 block of North New York Street after receiving a report of a boy who was armed with a handgun.

Stone printing of the 1776 Declaration of Independence for its permanent collection, according to a museum release. The acquisition is thanks to the philanthropic support of Doug and Diane Oberhelman.
