With a decade-plus experience in broadcasting, Joshua Bolden has been a reporter, anchor and producer for WVVA based in Bluefield, WV for seven years.

Starting as a one-man-band in June of 2016 covering general assignment stories across nine counties before being promoted to weekend anchor in 2017.

In January 2018 he began his role as co-anchor of WVVA Today and solo anchor & producer of the award-winning WVVA News @ Noon.

He spent several years as a radio news anchor at AM1480 WBBP (2011-2015)…

The 50th Cedar Bluff Heritage Festival gets underway at 9 AM running until 5 PM on September 19, 2026. Mark and Lisa Singleton telling our Joshua Bolden there will be something for every age. On top of vendors and music at the festival, Clinch Valley Health will be on hand to provide flu shots.

Skip to content WEST VIRGINIA (WVVA) - Tributes continue to pour in for music legend, Dolly Parton. The remembrances come following her passing on August 25, 2026. Her publicist confirming the singer-songwriter was combatting cancer. “After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center surrounded by loved ones,” her publicist, Marcel Pariseau, said in a statement Tuesday.
