Abstract : Simple Summary Resveratrol is a compound that has demonstrated anti-proliferative effects on several cancer cell lines. However, resveratrol is a lipophilic drug and its therapeutic effect can be improved by encapsulation in polymeric nanoparticles. Furthermore, functionalization of polycaprolactone-based polymeric nanoparticles with the non-ionic surfactant TPGS was reported to reduce drug resistance.
