Have you heard of the Guelph Newcomers Club? It’s for women who are new to town or experiencing a major change in their life and would love some companionship. President of the club, Vee Faria, said the group has really grown and she wants to get the word out. “We are a non-profit social club, and we’ve been operating since 1990 to promote friendships and to acquaint members to the community of Guelph,” said Faria.
