J.P. Singh is Distinguished University Professor at George Mason University (USA), and Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow with the Robert Bosch Academy, Berlin. He is the Co-Editor of the journal Global Perspectives, published from University of California Press, and Editor of Stanford’s book series “Emerging Frontiers of the Global Economy”. I am academic but it's also important for me to be a public intellectual. Before joining academia, I worked as a journalist.
