In the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 5, 2016, the body of UT freshman Haruka Weiser, 18, was found in Waller Creek. Haruka, from Portland, Oregon, was last seen leaving UT’s Drama building between 9 and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday. She texted her roommate saying she was on her way to her dorm room.
