Dual-temperature H 2 sensing with a wide dynamic range enabled by PdO/Pd-ZnO nanorod arrays
Abstract Hydrogen (H2) safety monitoring demands sensors that operate reliably across the entire trace-to-percent-level concentration range, a persistent challenge for conventional metal-oxide systems. Herein, a temperature-gated sensing strategy is demonstrated using PdO/Pd-decorated, metal–organic framework (MOF)-derived ZnO nanorod arrays.
Ordered Interfacial Water Generated at Poly(ionic liquid) Membrane Surface Imparts Ultrafast Water Transport and Superoleophobicity
Abstract Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Achieving ultrahigh permeance and superoleophobicity is crucial for membrane application. Here, we demonstrated that a poly(ionic liquid)/PES hydrogel membrane can achieve dual goals. The high polarity of the ionic liquids induces the water molecules on the membrane surface to be arranged more ordered, as verified by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation and advanced femtosecond sum frequency generation (SFG) vibrational spectroscopy.

Pyro-phototronic effect enhanced the performance of TiO2 NRs/BiOCl//PEDOS heterojunction for a UV photodetector
Self-powered ultraviolet photodetectors (SP UV PDs) have drawn much interest from researchers because of their wide range of applications in image sensing and communication, which have gradually become indispensable devices in photoelectric conversion [1], [2], [3]. However, the SP UV PDs have several requirements on materials and assembly methods, which lead to high cost and complex processing, thus limiting practical applications [4], [5], [6].

Multifunctional Flexible Sensor Based on PU‐TA@MXene Janus Architecture for Selective Direction Recognition
Abstract Multifunctional selectivity and mechanical properties have always been a focus of attention in the field of flexible sensors. In particular, the construction of biomimetic architecture for sensing materials can endow the fabricated sensors with intrinsic response features and extra derived functions.
Acid-Resistant Nanofiltration Facilitated Nonsaponified Extraction of Rare-Earth Elements
The conventional extraction of rare-earth (RE) elements by alkali saponification consumes plenty of alkalis and produces enormous amounts of salt effluents.
Ternary Memory Devices Based on Bipolar Copolymers with Naphthalene Benzimidazole Acceptors and Fluorene/Carbazole Donors
Functional polymers show great potential in information storage applications. However, most of these polymer-based memory devices demonstrate limited capacity because of binary memory characteristic. Herein, three novel donor–acceptor-type bipolar conjugated copolymers containing the naphthalene benzimidazole unit as the acceptor and fluorene/carbazol as the donor were synthesized by Suzuki cross-coupling reaction.
