In a discussion with Stephen Colbert about all things presidential, former president Obama offered a familiar line of criticism for the Democrats: the problem is in the communication, and the party should stop “talking like we’re in a college seminar.” In some ways, this is an odd line of criticism for Obama, who was sometimes accused of being “professorial” or “condescending” during his time running for and serving as president.
