MATTRESSES, tiles and general rubbish are among some of the items that were dumped in a Herefordshire village. After receiving a fly-tippimg report from a member of the public, Herefordshire Council's enforcement officer took "swift action" to attend a site on a Public Right of Way in Checkley. On arrival, the officer found three single mattresses, a large amount of bathroom material, wooden tiles, cardboard and other rubbish.
