David Edinger has concluded his service as Colorado’s CIO, handing the reins to Sarah Tuneberg, who will lead the state’s IT work under a new operating model designed to better meet agencies’ modern needs. Edinger’s departure, announced in May, comes as the Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) undergoes a major realignment to combat the limitations of a shared service model. He stayed on through June 11 to support the transition.
