NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Can music improve the symptoms of psychosis? That’s the focus of a recent study out of Yale University in New Haven. The study spanned over several years and included researchers at Yale, a local music facilitator, and a wide age range of participants. One of those participants, Archie Brown, is a passionate musician. He also hears voices that others do not, which began in his late 20s.
