Flagler County Fire Rescue has distinguished itself for its excellence in heart attack and stroke care and has been awarded the national American Heart Association “Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold” for 2026. “It is a great honor to receive this award,” said Fire Rescue Chief Michael Tucker. “This is the third year we been awarded at the Gold-level for the care we provide patients who are experiencing the most severe form of heart attacks and strokes.
