GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — On Sept. 7, 1993, Belinda Jensen first appeared on air at KARE 11. At 25 years old, she would be taking over as weekend meteorologist and Saturday morning co-host. Though it was her first time on air, it was not her first time at KARE 11. She had interned at KARE 11 a few years before, after cold-calling Paul Douglas for help with a school paper.
