Excited-State Conformational Dynamics Enables Visible-Light-Activated Near-Infrared Phosphorescent Nano-Assemblies for Bioimaging
1 Introduction Optical imaging plays a crucial role in biology and medicine owing to its noninvasive nature, real-time monitoring capability, and high spatiotemporal resolution [1, 2]. As the core components of optical imaging systems, molecular probes bridge microscopic biological events, and macroscopically detectable signals [3, 4].
ASCO 2026: A Prospective, Multi-Center, Phase 1b/II Trial of First-Line Cadonilimab + Axitinib in Advanced Non-Clear Cell RCC
(UroToday.com) The 2026 ASCO annual meeting featured an oral abstract kidney cancer session and a presentation by Dr. Junru Chen discussing a prospective, multi-center, phase Ib/II trial of first line cadonilimab + axitinib in advanced non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Non-clear cell RCC comprises ~20-25% of all RCC and includes papillary, chromophobe, translocation-associated, collecting duct, medullary, and unclassified subtypes.
Pretreatment intratumoral mature TLSs in non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma are associated with response to immunotherapy rechallenge
Although immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-based combination therapies have emerged as guideline-recommended first-line options for patients with advanced/metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC), their efficacy in subsequent rechallenge settings remains controversial, and evidence regarding the clinical benefit and predictive biomarkers for ICI rechallenge in the non-clear cell RCC (nccRCC) population is particularly sparse.

A New Protection Strategy for Grid-Forming Renewable Power Outgoing Lines Using Characteristic Signal Amplitude Ratio
Submitted: 28 February 2026 You are already at the latest version Grid-forming (GFM) renewable energy sources are increasingly integrated into power grids to enhance the stability of high-penetration renewable energy systems, while the fault current characteristics of GFM-based outgoing lines lead to the inapplicability of conventional longitudinal differential protection, which suffers from reduced sensitivity or even refusal to operate under weak grid conditions.

Gut microbial β-glucuronidases and their role in the microbiome-metabolite axis in colorectal cancer - Nature Communications
Abstract Colorectal cancer (CRC) development involves microbial and metabolic dysbiosis, with gut microbial β-glucuronidases (gmGUSs) potentially impacting carcinogenesis through de-glucuronidation of diverse important molecules. Here, we identify 550 gmGUSs from a public cohort, employing 114 alignment references, three structural domains, and seven conserved residues.

Comprehensive molecular profiling of FH-deficient renal cell carcinoma identifies molecular subtypes and potential therapeutic targets - Nature Communications
Abstract Fumarate hydratase-deficient renal cell carcinoma (FH-deficient RCC) is a rare yet highly lethal kidney cancer. To deepen our understanding of FH-deficient RCC, we conduct a comprehensive integrated genomic study. We analyze the association of FH alteration patterns with tumor heterogeneity and develop a CpG site-specific methylation signature for precise identification of FH-deficient RCC.

Bias-free Si-based photocathode for efficient photoelectrochemical ammonia synthesis and HMF oxidation
Bias-free Si-based photocathode for efficient photoelectrochemical ammonia synthesis and HMF oxidation† The photoelectrochemical nitrate reduction reaction (NOxRR) has emerged as a promising route for achieving an eco-friendly solar-to-ammonia conversion process. Despite its potential, the approach has been hindered by poor stability and the requirement of an external bias voltage for the coupled NOxRR and oxygen evolution reaction (OER).

The mutational pattern of homologous recombination repair genes in urothelial carcinoma and its correlation with immunotherapeutic response
1 INTRODUCTION Urothelial carcinoma (UC), primarily originating from the urinary tract, ranks as the 10th most common malignancy worldwide.1 UC exhibits an extremely aggressive nature in the advanced stage, with a 5-year survival rate of less than 5%.2 Platinum-based chemotherapy has been the standard first-line systemic treatment for patients with locally advanced and metastatic UC (mUC) for several decades.3-5 However, no substantial improvement in the efficacy of the chemotherapy has been...

Gut microbiome, metabolome, host immunity associated with inflammatory bowel disease and intervention of fecal microbiota transplantation.
Gut dysbiosis has been associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), one of the most common gastrointestinal diseases. The microbial communities play essential roles in host physiology, with profound effects on immune homeostasis, directly or via their metabolites and/or components. There are increasing clinical trials applying fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) with Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC).
Distributed Optimal Coordination of a Virtual Power Plant with Residential Regenerative Electric Heating Systems
Abstract : Renewable energy sources play a key role in the transition towards clean and affordable energy. However, grid integration of renewable energy sources faces many challenges due to its intermittent nature. The controllability of aggregated regenerative electric heating load provides a method for the consumption of renewable energy sources.
Genomic and transcriptomic features between primary and paired metastatic fumarate hydratase–deficient renal cell carcinoma - Genome Medicine
Patient selection and sample preparation From 2014 to 2022, 90 cases with FH-RCC were included in our multi-center database established in West China Hospital. Generally, cases were from 19 provinces or municipalities of China. Firstly, all candidate RCC cases were screened using immunohistochemical staining (IHC) for FH protein and S-(2-succino)-cysteine (2SC) and reviewed by two experienced uropathologists.
Review of RoCoF Estimation Techniques for Low-Inertia Power Systems
Abstract : As the traditional generation is gradually replaced by inverter-based resources, a lack of rotational inertia is now a common issue of modern power systems, which leads to an increasingly larger rate of change of frequency (RoCoF) following contingencies and may result in frequency collapse.

Achieving persistent and efficient organic room-temperature phosphorescence with temperature-response by adjusting the proportion of excited-state configurations in coupled molecules
Achieving persistent and efficient organic room-temperature phosphorescence with temperature-response by adjusting the proportion of excited-state configurations in coupled molecules Organic persistent room temperature phosphorescence (pRTP) materials have played an important role in many fields. However, the efficiency and lifetime for pRTP are difficult to improve simultaneously through the introduction of simple groups.
Weak Interactions but Potent Effect: Tunable Mechanoluminescence by Adjusting Intermolecular C-H•••π Interactions
A new mechanoluminescent material (4-(diphenylamino)phenyl)(4-(diphenylphosphanyl)phenyl)methanone (CDpP), which displays tunable mechanoluminescent emission colors, has been designed and successfully synthesized. CDpP shows two distinct mechanoluminescent colors (blue and green) in different crystalline states.
Mechano-induced persistent room-temperature phosphorescence from purely organic molecule
Persistent room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) of purely organic materials in the solid-state has recently attracted much research interest and found promising rapid and visual applications by naked eyes, after the removal of the excitation source. However, almost all reported organic persistent RTP processes are induced by a UV-light irradiation source.
