Climate-Induced Genomic Selection: Genetic Structure Variation of Cornus kousa subsp. chinensis and Its Adaptive Reaction to Future Climate Change
1 Introduction Anthropogenic climate change stands as one of the most prevalent perils to global biodiversity (Wu et al. 2022; Wudu et al. 2023). Propelled by the precipitous surge in the concentration of greenhouse gases within the atmosphere, the Earth's climate system is experiencing unparalleled transformations.
Chain mediation of rumination and negative coping styles in the relationship between fertility stress and psychological distress among Chinese infertile women: a cross-sectional study
Abstract Background: Infertility affects approximately 48.5 million couples worldwide, with infertile women experiencing significantly higher rates of psychological distress (27–40%) compared to the general population. While fertility stress has been identified as a primary contributor to psychological distress, the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood.

Exosome-based nanomedicines for digestive system tumors therapy
ABSTRACT Digestive system tumors constitute a major subset of malignancies, consistently ranking among the leading causes of mortality globally. Despite limitations inherent in current therapeutic modalities, recent advancements in targeted therapy and drug delivery systems have led to significant improvements in the efficacy of pharmacotherapy for digestive system tumors.

Characteristics and mechanisms of T‐cell senescence: A potential target for cancer immunotherapy
Introduction Immunosenescence is a prominent aspect of aging that manifests as shifts in the immune system, impacting organs, cells, and cytokines [1]. Features of immunosenescence include memory T-cell accumulation, impaired antigen responsiveness, and “inflammaging” [2]. This decline in immune function contributes to accelerated organismal decline [3, 4], leading to age-related diseases and even cancer [5]. Adaptive immunity, especially T cells, is believed to become impaired during aging.

Linear-Communication Asynchronous Complete Secret Sharing with Optimal Resilience
Paper 2024/245 , Tsinghua University , ShanghaiTech University , Tsinghua University Secure multiparty computation (MPC) allows a set of $n$ parties to jointly compute a function on their private inputs. In this work, we focus on the information-theoretic MPC in the \emph{asynchronous network} setting with optimal resilience ($t<n/3$). The best-known result in this setting is achieved by Choudhury and Patra [J.
Risk Assessment and Response Strategy for Pig Epidemics in China
Abstract : Simple Summary The frequent occurrence of pig epidemics has restricted the sustainable and healthy development of the pig industry and its ability to enhance the supply of pork, negatively impacting China’s economic and social development. In recent years, China has faced many pig epidemic risks and challenges, with one high-risk area and two medium–high-risk areas. The epidemic risk was highest in Beijing, Hainan, Liaoning, Tibet and Zhejiang.
From Large to Powerful: International Comparison, Challenges and Strategic Choices for China’s Livestock Industry
5. Conclusions This study has constructed an evaluation index system using data related to the livestock industry for major countries in the world, used the entropy method to comparatively assess the strength of China’s livestock industry and discussed the challenges and shortcomings in constructing a livestock powerhouse. Specifically, the following research conclusions can be obtained.
Framework‐Hotspot Enhanced Trans Cleavage of CRISPR‐Cas12a for Clinical Samples Detection
Graphical Abstract We generate framework-hotspot reporters (FHRs) with different local densities and investigate their impact on trans cleavage activity of Cas12a. Further, a modular platform with CRISPR-Cas12a-based target recognition and FHR-based signal transduction is developed, which enables sensitive (100 fM) and rapid (<15 min) detection of pathogen nucleic acids without pre-amplification, as well as detection of tumor protein markers in clinical samples.

Efficient Information-Theoretic Distributed Point Function with General Output Groups
Paper 2023/625 Efficient Information-Theoretic Distributed Point Function with General Output Groups , ShanghaiTech University , ShanghaiTech University , ShanghaiTech University Abstract An $n$-server information-theoretic \textit{Distributed Point Function} (DPF) allows a client to secret-share a point function $f_{\alpha,\beta}(x)$ with domain $[N]$ and output group $\mathbb{G}$ among $n$ servers such that each server learns no information about the function from its share (called a key)...
Experiment and Analysis on Friction Damage and Energy Loss Characteristics of Potatoes
3.1. Factorial Test Results and Discussion The factors and their levels in the factorial test are shown in Table 1. After determining the factor level, Minitab software was used to design the trial in the form of −1 and + 1 codes. The 2V5-1 trial design was used and a total of 16 groups of trials were required. At the same time, the proportion of epidermal damage was taken as the test index. Each group of trials was repeated 10 times, and the average value was taken as the test result.

Statistical inference of body representation in the macaque brain
Significance How humans and potentially other animals construct the experience of ”being a self" remains one of the most intriguing questions in neuroscience. Over the past years, substantial advances have been made in understanding psychological mechanisms of bodily self through experimental manipulations in humans, such as rubber-hand illusion in which arbitrary objects may be ascribed with ownership and perceived as part of the self.

Production of Supra-regular Spatial Sequences by Macaque Monkeys
Novel sequences on the standard hexagon Here, to sidestep those issues, we designed a novel behavioral paradigm, delayed-sequence reproduction task that required the animal to explicitly generate sequences according to the instructed grammars.
