WUFT has done a roundup of many of the new laws, which total more than 100, covering everything from Dexter’s Law on animal cruelty to the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico in schools. Here’s a breakdown of the laws: SB 492: Mitigation Banks: Developments that damage Florida’s wetlands offset their environmental impacts by buying credits from restoration projects known as mitigation banks.

60-year-old man on a minibike dies in a crash on Hawkinsville Road, Bibb County Coroner says

MACON, Ga. — A 60-year-old man died in a crash on Hawkinsville Road after his minibike collided with an  SUV, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. It happened just after 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the intersection of Avondale Circle in South Bibb. Jones says the man was driving a minibike that was not street legal and didn’t notice any lights on it.
