Arizona safeties ‘a revolving door’ in training camp

One of Arizona’s most significant position battles are the two safety spots. Among the five four defensive backs that were drafted by NFL teams earlier this season, three of them are longtime starters in nickel back Treydan Stukes, strong safety Dalton Johnson and free safety Genesis Smith. The three combined for 6,700 snaps at Arizona together and Johnson and Stukes were first-team All-Big 12 selections last year — the latter receiving All-American honors, too.
