1. Introduction Many natural or man-made materials are polydisperse: they are composed of microscopic elements of different shapes, sizes and reflectance properties. The modeling of such polydisperse media is a difficult endeavor, with most previous work in Computer Graphics focusing on volumetric materials having granular (e.g., [MPH*15, MPG*16]), or layered (e.g., [EKM01, JDJM14]) structures.

Secondary batteries are essential for powering a wide array of modern technologies, including smartphones, electric vehicles, autonomous aircraft, and robotics. As these technologies advance, the demands on batteries become increasingly complex. Next-generation secondary batteries must meet higher operating voltages and enhanced energy densities [1], [2], [3], [4].

Lithium secondary batteries are widely used in portable electronic devices, electric vehicles and energy storage fields due to their long cycle life, high energy density and low maintenance cost [1], [2], [3]. The cathode material is one of the key components of the battery that directly affects the voltage and energy density of the battery. However, current commercial cathode materials have poor cycling performance and rapid capacity degradation.
