Complementary Control Strategies for Floating Offshore Wind Turbines: Gain Scheduling With LQG Enhancement and Equivalent Wind Speed–Based Individual Pitch
1 Introduction With the growing global demand for renewable energy, offshore wind power has received increasing attention due to its abundant wind resources and higher average wind speeds compared to onshore sites. Offshore wind turbines operate in harsh environmental conditions characterized by highly variable and often extreme wind loads, which pose significant challenges to stable and efficient operation.

Voice-controlled super-resolution ultrasound imaging and reporting powered by multimodal large language models
Abstract Super-resolution ultrasound imaging (SRUI) surpasses the diffraction limit of conventional ultrasound, enabling visualization of microvascular architecture and hemodynamics with potential applications in neurology, oncology, and cardiology. However, clinical adoption remains limited by complex parameter optimization, subjective interpretation, and time-consuming workflows.

Anti-sense oligonucleotide probing as a structural platform for studying ribonucleoprotein complex assembly - Nature Communications
Abstract Investigating the intricate and rapid folding kinetics of large RNA-protein complexes (RNPs), like the bacterial ribosome, remains a formidable challenge in structural biology. Previous genetic approaches to probe assembly have focused on modulating the expression of either r-proteins or assembly factors. Here, anti-sense oligonucleotides (ASOs) were used to disrupt native RNA/RNA and RNA/protein interactions, in order to generate previously uncharacterized folding intermediates.
A Retrofit System and Method for Platform Screen Doors in Urban Rail Transit
1. Introduction In contemporary urban rail transit systems, effective coordination between the signaling system and the platform screen door system is essential to guarantee train safety and punctuality. Nevertheless, the existing circuit designs of platform screen door systems frequently lack adequate redundancy. A failure in the primary control circuit can result in a complete system shutdown, severely disrupting train operations and compromising passenger safety.
The TLR-M-CSF axis is implicated in increased bone turnover and curve progression in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis - Arthritis Research & Therapy
Facet joints were collected from 35 consenting AIS patients undergoing spinal fusion surgery at the Shriner's Hospital for Children and facet joints from 16 non-scoliotic individuals (NSC) were retrieved through the Transplant Quebec Organ Donation Program. The average age was 27.6 ± 7.4 for the non-scoliotic individuals and 16.2 ± 2.6 for the AIS patients.

Senolytic treatment for low back pain
Abstract Senescent cells (SnCs) accumulate because of aging and external cellular stress throughout the body. They adopt a senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) and release inflammatory and degenerative factors that actively contribute to age-related diseases, such as low back pain (LBP). The senolytics, o-vanillin and RG-7112, remove SnCs in human intervertebral discs (IVDs) and reduce SASP release, but it is unknown whether they can treat LBP.

Domain consolidation in Bacterial 50S assembly revealed by Anti-Sense Oligonucleotide Probing
Here, anti-sense oligonucleotides (ASOs) were used to disrupt native RNA/RNA and RNA/protein interactions, in order to generate novel folding intermediates.
Assembly of the Bacterial Ribosome with Circularly Permuted rRNA
Abstract Co-transcriptional assembly is an integral feature of the formation of RNA-protein complexes that mediate translation. For ribosome synthesis, prior studies have indicated that the strict order of transcription of rRNA domains may not be obligatory during bacterial ribosome biogenesis, since a series of circularly permuted rRNAs are viable.

Biomolecules | Free Full-Text | Senolytic Combination Treatment Is More Potent Than Single Drugs in Reducing Inflammatory and Senescence Burden in Cells from Painful Degenerating IVDs
1. Introduction Low back pain is experienced by approximately 80% of individuals at some point in their lifetime. Globally, it is the number one cause of years lived with disability [1]. Despite its prevalence, little is known about the cellular and molecular mechanisms leading to painful intervertebral disc (IVD) degeneration, leaving surgical removal and vertebral fusion in end-stage disease as the mainstay of treatment.

Real-Time Path Planning of Driverless Mining Trains with Time-Dependent Physical Constraints
5. Solution The traditional approach to solve the above MIP problem is to use an offline scenario, which optimises the train schedule for a predefined time window. However, this approach is not suitable for the online scenario, where real-time updates are needed to keep up with the dynamic nature of the entire system. In the online scenario, the solving time often turns out to be unacceptable. For example, it may take several days to generate a train schedule for the next 24 h.
