The first exhibit of art from Wayzata and Robbinsdale elementary schoolers is now on display through March 16 at the Plymouth Art Gallery, 14800 34th Ave N, Plymouth. Participating schools in exhibit 1 include Robbinsdale Schools, Providence Academy in Plymouth and FAIR School. Exhibit 2 will feature works from all Wayzata elementary schools March 20 through April 7. Projects currently displayed include mosaic, ceramic, oil pastel, paper tile and more.

The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is welcoming spring with their annual flower show, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through March 16 at 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska. The 2025 Spring Flower Show features enchanted gardens with blooming flowers, green foliage and woodland scenes. Special displays of mushrooms, herbs and air plants are open for viewing too.

An Interactive Story Time was held in Spanish Feb. 23 inside the Plymouth Community Center’s Black Box Theater, 14800 34th Ave. N. Geared toward preschool- and elementary-age children, city staff say this free event aims to celebrate cultural learning through storytelling, dancing and crafts. The featured story at the event, “Daniela y Mateo Viajan a Argentina,” was read by author Pamela Mercado Michelli, followed by dancing to Bomba and Plena style music.
