Tuesday officials shared new information about this shooting. The victim is identified as Jose Luis Lopez of Port Hueneme. The coroner said he died of multiple gunshot wounds. Oxnard police detectives are asking the public to help locate a possible witness to this incident. Detectives received information that the occupants of a silver 4-door sedan were seen in the area where the shooting occurred and left the scene before officers arrived. The make and model of the car could be a Toyota Corolla.
