Intraovarian injection of securinine stimulates the growth of small ovarian follicles by reducing stromal suppression

Abstract The lack of hormone-responsive follicles is a major challenge in treating infertility/subfertility in women with premature ovarian insufficiency or diminished ovarian reserve. In this study, we demonstrate that securinine, a neurological drug, can be repurposed to promote small follicle growth. In aged mice, intraovarian injection of securinine significantly enhances follicular development and improves fertility, yielding healthy offspring.

Following the making of a winding-up order by the Hong Kong Court, a provisional liquidator or a liquidator can decide whether to apply to the Hong Kong Court for appointment of certain creditors and contributories to form a committee of inspection (COI) to advise and supervise the liquidators in the performance of their duties and to approve the exercise of certain powers by the liquidators.
