AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- One person is dead after a shooting involving Austin Police officers Saturday morning. During an afternoon press briefing, APD officials said multiple 911 calls came in as early as 8 a.m. about a white male armed with a handgun near the trails around Lamar Boulevard and Cesar Chavez Street. The man was reportedly pointing the gun at multiple people in the area, according to police. Officers investigated the scene for several hours.
