Kat Cornetta’s Biography

Kat Cornetta is a freelance writer covering figure skating, women’s hockey, and gymnastics, most recently for the Boston Globe. She is also the sports writer for the Ipswich (MA) Local News. Her past publications include the Boston Herald, New England Hockey Journal,New England Lacrosse Journal, and the Newburyport (MA) Daily News.

A graduate of two BUs (Binghamton University and Boston University), Kat works full-time in education. She has two elementary-school-aged children and one orange cat named after Marv Levy. She is a native of Rochester, NY (if you couldn't tell by her naming a pet after a Buffalo Bills head coach).
