A number like $400 million makes me sit up and pay attention, which is what I was doing recently at a joint meeting of our Public Safety and Highway committees. The number was the upper end of the consultants’ cost estimate for a new Fond du Lac County Justice Center. The two committees, meeting jointly to consider this ambitious infrastructure project, voted to recommend that the Fond du Lac County Board seek bids for architectural plans for the proposed new Justice Center.

As a Trans actor, I see lots of Breakdowns with interesting language- always in an effort to come across as inclusive/woke/Trans friendly but often resulting in alienating the people they are hoping to include. Terms like “Woman+”, “preferred” pronouns, and blanket statements that treat “Trans” as an entire single identity- as if all Trans people are interchangeable- come across my email every now and then (more often when the NYC Theatre Industry wasn’t on a scary indefinite hiatus).
