9:00 am and Chica is already too hot. Summer Solstice 2026 Dearest Readers, I am referring you all to my previous posts regarding staying hydrated, no-cook meals, and early morning watering the garden advice. Now I am in the serious zone of just stopping everything for a few days and suggesting a little staycation in an air conditioned room, an okay-to-good book preferably about art theft or a non-violent mystery and lots of tall glasses with ice cubes and fresh mint and basil leaves.
