CONWAY, Ark. – Streamer University is in full swing at Hendrix College, drawing crowds of fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite content creators as they livestream on campus. At Demure Coffee, owner James Clifton said the crowd of visitors started almost immediately after the event kicked off on Wednesday. “To see tons of students come in that we’ve never seen before are starting to support us now. And they’ve been coming since, probably since it started on Wednesday,” Clifton said.

Streamer University, hosted by popular online personality Kai Cenat, has brought more than 100 streamers to the Conway campus for a livestream-focused event that has generated thousands of online viewers. Alice Hornus lives across the street and says the excitement has been impossible to miss. “It was pretty chaotic around here. Traffic like crazy,” Hornus said.
