Katie Bane and Matt Stein A Douglas County Sheriff's deputy injured in a shooting in Northwest Omaha around noon Sunday, Sheriff Aaron Hanson told the media in a news conference. Hanson said the male deputy was shot and is in stable condition after being taken to the hospital in a cruiser. Two deputies were responding to a domestic dispute where a boyfriend was accused of breaking into an apartment near Blair High Road and Potter Street, Hanson said.
