There's a lot more noise. Still, a lot of it is worth hearing.

I'm not very interesting. But other people, and their work, are.

Not the middle of the night.
What's your favorite drink?
For adult beverages, bourbon. For hydration, Pellegrino.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Out for a walk!

Pittsburgh Quarterly is a good local gem.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
Science illuminates the world, but it's more often a process akin to stumbling in the dark looking for the light switch.
