Fools’ behaviour Everyone across our nation is economically damaged and struggling to make ends meet. There may be legitimate accusations of poor management, but we can only accept what we know where some ‘needs’ may be questionable. Being a part of a bilateral trading nation, damaged by a deranged person ruling in a politically unbalanced country, is something we must endure because we’ve no choice.

Words have power Reading has the power to transform lives. A good reader can naturally become a good writer. Through reading, we expand our vocabulary and develop the ability to achieve our goals. Its real power lies in the knowledge it unlocks. Newspapers, magazines, and books teach us how to extract valuable information and make informed, independent decisions. Reading also improves critical thinking and prepares us to face challenges.

Letter to the Editor: DEI efforts benefit businesses and employees
Re: Op-ed: DEI has to go, our businesses and future depend on it Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is a crucial component of not only a fair society, but also a successful business strategy. While I respect the perspective of Mr. Boschy, it’s important to recognize that DEI is neither a “Trojan horse” nor a threat to human flourishing. In fact, it plays a vital role in fostering healthier workplaces, advancing societal progress and driving economic success.
We Have a Responsibility to Develop Ethical AI
A year ago I was developing “Ethics in AI” curricula for a Computer Science program for teens. This workshop was designed to be able to discuss the dangers of artificial intelligence and how to ensure we are building ethical tech products. The world at large was already living through 5 months ChatGPT being on the market. We were seeing many of our talented, diverse, colleagues beginning to get laid off in tech.
Believe them when they show you who they are
The biggest danger to this country is the man who is running against our Prime Minister in the next election, Pierre Poilievre. Just this week, there emerged video of him taking a roadside tour of “Freedom Convoy” protesters on the East Coast. However, what made it particularly concerning was the Diagolon flag proudly drawn on the door of their white trailer. According to Wikipedia: “Diagolon is a Canadian alt-right organization, conceived by podcaster Jeremy MacKenzie.
Motherlover!
I’m not sure this is a universal fact or just my flimsy opinion. Every day, Pinterest displays organized playrooms, fantastic games, and cute kids’ meals. Facebook bios proclaim a family of 7 is always up for another road trip, another adventure. Instagram shows happy cherub faces. I like to think parents remain behind the camera because their faces are slack-jawed witnessing their kids sitting still. Or maybe their dark circles and pasty skin couldn’t be camouflaged by any of the filters.

Lessons in Disaster: The Boston Marathon Bombing Posted by AHRA on April 17, 2017 · Leave a Comment By Kelly Bergeron, MHA, BSRT(R)(MR) April 15, 2013 is a day most everyone in Boston will never forget; it was a day both of joy and of horror.
