He was observed hiding in a porta-potty and recording laps he didn’t run by crossing the timing mat multiple times. It rocked the ultra-running community who had come to admire him. But some people had mixed feelings about him already. I figured I would write this down for a few reasons. First, this is my take on the story. Second, people keep bringing it back up.
