NEWARK, N.J. — A former Piscataway couple charged in a COVID-19 relief fraud scheme faces up to 30 years in federal prison after prosecutors said they fraudulently obtained more than $715,000 in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. Sabrina Mitlo, 41, and Joseph Mitlo, 40, are each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, according to an announcement from federal authorities.
