SALT LAKE CITY — A new vaccine has been called a groundbreaking development in women's health and a possible game changer in the fight against cancer. Anixa Biosciences is the company developing the vaccine they hope will be able to prevent breast cancer. "The vaccine is designed prphylactic which is similar to many of the vaccines we use for infectious diseases," says Dr. Armit Kumar, the CEO of Anixa Bioscience.

Full-day kindergarten comes to Utah, here's what parents should expect

LEHI, Utah — The Alpine School District is making the switch to optional full-day kindergarten ahead of the upcoming school year, with the move coming after the state legislature authorized its funding. "...we took advantage of that this year and decided to roll it out to all 61 of our elementary schools.” said Rich Stowell, Director of Communications for the district.

Canyons School District bus driver shows skills in national competition

SANDY, Utah — Bus drivers get our kids to school in one piece and have to navigate a really big vehicle around town to do it, and Utah is home to one of the best bus drivers in the country. Jeremy Klung with the Canyons School District has been transporting students for more than a decade. Recently, he decided to put his skills to the test in the state safety and skill competition. “I went in it wanting to have a good time,” Jemery said.
