Combining CBD and alcohol can increase sedative effects, such as increased drowsiness and impaired coordination. Since both substances are processed by the liver, combining CBD and alcohol can have potentially negative effects on liver function. ​The participants included healthy adults aged 21-65 who were moderate alcohol users.

Studies on cannabis consumption patterns have mainly focused on cisgender populations, so this study addresses a gap in the research on transgender and gender-diverse identities and cannabis use patterns. The researchers analyzed data from the International Cannabis Policy Study’s national, repeat cross-sectional surveys.

A study published in the journal Clinical Rheumatology focused on patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD). EDS and HSD are connective tissue disorders characterized by joint hypermobility and complications, increased susceptibility to weakened blood vessels, and connective tissue abnormalities. Patients often struggle with chronic pain, gastrointestinal problems, and other ailments.
