Since 2018, the Borough of North Arlington has reviewed and updated property values every year, rather than waiting seven to 10 years for a single, massive revaluation. Under the previous system performed for decades, property assessments in the borough sat untouched. When the town finally updated them, homeowners were often hit with sudden, dramatic tax jumps.

Beginning at 11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28 until 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, the Pulaski Skyway will be closed and detoured in both directions. The closure and detour are necessary to restripe the roadway and remove construction barrier in order to reopen the Broadway ramp to and from Route 1&9 Truck. By 11 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29, the Broadway ramp is expected to reopen in both directions. If work is completed sooner, the ramp will reopen earlier.
