As smoke from wildfires in northwestern Ontario continue to drift across the province, once again making Toronto’s air quality among the worst of the world’s major cities on Thursday, experts are urging people to stay indoors and avoid physical exertion outside if possible. “The air quality is actually much worse today than yesterday,” said Greg Evans, director of the Southern Ontario Centre for Atmospheric Aerosol Research and a professor at the University of Toronto, on Thursday.
