Last September, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies evicted a protest encampment in Grand Park during a surprise 3 AM raid. The encampment, which faced City Hall, was set up during that Summer’s uprisings. Organizers had built a kitchen, garden, library, community event space, and mutual aid services.
