CLEVELAND (WJW) – A new community sailing center is now open on Cleveland’s lakefront. On Tuesday, Cleveland Metroparks and its partners celebrated the grand opening of the Patrick S. Parker Community Sailing Center at East 55th Street Marina off I-90. It’s been months in the making, and now more Clevelanders have a new way to connect with Lake Erie. “This is just another celebration of being a great waterfront city here in Cleveland, Ohio,” said Brian Zimmerman, CEO of Cleveland Metroparks.
