After two days of rain, the sun finally broke through, bringing Lollapalooza’s Day 4 to a picturesque close (minus the lingering mud puddles). For rock fans, there was plenty to enjoy in the afternoon and early evening bouncing between the area with the Tito’s Stage and Bud Light Stage, catching acts like Wunderhorse, Yoasobi and Hot Mulligan before Turnstile’s masterful set (a tough timing conflict against beabadoobee).

The rain that largely held up through Day 2 became a torrential downpour that lasted overnight and through the following morning, inundating Grant Park and causing a weather delay. The opening of the gates pushed back a few hours to 3 p.m., with some of Lollapalooza’s earlier scheduled sets (like act to know Villanelle) canceled, while others played condensed sets. By the early evening, the schedule largely snapped back on track with its original timing.

Rain couldn’t put a damper on Day 2 of Lollapalooza, which forged ahead with minimal disruptions despite showers on and off throughout. The one reshuffling of the schedule: Lil Uzi Vert couldn’t make his original set time due to travel issues, so Zara Larsson ascended to the penultimate slot on the T-Mobile Stage.
