Many viewers would not want to be like Sasuke for a laundry list of reasons. Sasuke has one of the most tragic backstories in Naruto, allows vengeance to consume his mind, and cuts off his bonds with his friends. On top of all this, his personality has several flaws. Following the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke's heart grows colder as his hatred increasingly escalates to new heights. Nevertheless, viewers cannot overlook how luck favors Sasuke at multiple points throughout the show.
