Killing Danzo

Many viewers would not want to be like Sasuke for a laundry list of reasons. Sasuke has one of the most tragic backstories in Naruto, allows vengeance to consume his mind, and cuts off his bonds with his friends. On top of all this, his personality has several flaws. Following the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke's heart grows colder as his hatred increasingly escalates to new heights. Nevertheless, viewers cannot overlook how luck favors Sasuke at multiple points throughout the show.

Rivalries have as much a place in shonen as the battles do. Almost every shonen has a rivalry of some kind, from Killua and Gon to Vegeta and Goku. There's always one, and Naruto does some of its best work in making sure that both rivals are balanced. They both are allowed to take center stage at times. Unlike Vegeta, who is forever the bridesmaid, Sasuke keeps pace with Naruto, even surpassing him in power at times.
