The Hughes H-4 Hercules, better known as the Spruce Goose, now fills the hangar at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville. Neal White, a docent at the museum, said the aircraft is so big it looks like part of the building. It has a wingspan of 319 feet and 11 inches, longer than a football field.
